About the Role
Reporting to our Venue Manager you will play a major part in the daily running of one of our Buffet restaurants you will oversee one of five restaurants for our half board guests. Reporting to the Restaurant manager, your key role is delivering sales and service superiority to our guests.
Your role will require you to lead, maintain and continually improve all areas of operation ensuring we exceed in delivering service expectation and standards to all our guests. You will have a great working knowledge of the restaurant floor, the kitchen and food product knowledge.
You will manage and maintain an effective team environment at all times, take financial accountability and ensure that all Liquor and Health & Safety legislation is adhered to at all times, as required.
Previous experience in a similar role where you have led a team along with a basic food hygiene certificate is essential. The successful candidate will be expected to be involved in the recruitment and training of new team and will have personal and department KPIs to measure their performance with strong communication skills both verbal and written.
You will have a passion for people and great customer service. We believe that your experience in a similar role will mean that you understand systems and processes such as labour budgets, food safety and health & safety, stock taking and delivering a GP.
Normal working hours:
You will need to have a flexible approach to your working hours as we are open 7 days a week. The role will consist of Evenings, Weekends and split shifts, and normal working hours could be between 7am and 10pm.
