Thales Recruitment Event

Yeovil College is working closely with Thales to help promote their recently announced recruitment needs.

A sudden and dramatic upturn in workload in our Towed Array Production Facility means Thales are recruiting significantly to their Templecombe site. Thales can offer job security within Towed Array as there is an order book which currently stretches out 15 years, Thales are based in 68 countries and currently have in excess of 3600 open roles. In addition anybody coming to Thales with limited hands on experience will be fully supported with training and a detailsed have a structure in place to recognise and reward goalposts.

Current recruitment needs includes:

• 20 Production Operatives and Technicians. (The work is electrical based, general skills required are mid-range electrical – i.e. wiring, looming, soldering)
• Goods-in Inspector
• Calibration Coordinator
• Conformal Array Operator
• FMC Technician
• Night shift Team Leader
• They will also be opening requirement for night shift Test Technicians

Grades and pay will depend on skills experience but will range from £22 to £29k with an additional 15% or 30% shift premium uplift. 

28 days annual leave plus pension benefits etc.
