Similarly, other users will be able to view descriptions of Your activity, communicate with You and view Your profile. Currently when you create a CV on your account only employers can view your details where you have applied to a job vacancy and website admin. This may be changed in the future where an employer can purchase a package from us to view CV’s submitted.

Newsletters

We may provide you the opportunity to opt-in to additional newsletters or promotional communications sent by email. If you have opted in to receive these forms of communication, we will use your name and email address to communicate with you. We also provide you with a way to easily unsubscribe.

Retention of Your Personal Data

The Company will retain Your Personal Data only for as long as is necessary for the purposes set out in this Privacy Policy. We will retain and use Your Personal Data to the extent necessary to comply with our legal obligations (for example, if we are required to retain your data to comply with applicable laws), resolve disputes, and enforce our legal agreements and policies.

The Company will also retain Usage Data for internal analysis purposes. Usage Data is generally retained for a shorter period of time, except when this data is used to strengthen the security or to improve the functionality of Our Service, or We are legally obligated to retain this data for longer time periods.

For users that register on our website (if any), we also store the personal information they provide in their user profile. All users can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except they cannot change their username). Website administrators can also see and edit that information.

Job applications will be deleted whenever a job listing is deleted from the website or if you have requested a personal data erasure from us. Details are deleted 30 days after we have actioned the request.

Job applications will be removed and updated each 365 days as part of our annual check.

If you have added a CV they will expire after 120 days. Our annual check will make sure they have been deleted.

We continually review what information we hold and delete what is no longer required; every record is reviewed at least annually depending on the permissions originally granted.

We will keep your personal data in connection with the services/products you have bought for 7 years after the last purchase. We need to retain this data for our own accounting purposes and for legal and tax purposes. We never store payment card information. Stripe will if You allow it.

In terms of personal data we use for marketing, we will keep this data for as long as we are able to market to you and if you withdraw your consent or opt-out of marketing communications, we may keep your contact details only to ensure that we do not contact you again for marketing purposes.

User Accounts

When You create an account with Us, You must provide Us information that is accurate, complete, and current at all times. Failure to do so constitutes a breach of the Terms, which may result in immediate termination of Your account on Our Service.

You are responsible for safeguarding the password that You use to access the Service and for any activities or actions under Your password, whether Your password is with Our Service or a Third-Party Social Media Service.

We will never contact you for your login details

Applying for jobs

By registering Your CV on the Job Shop South West website it is understood that You are actively seeking / soliciting contact from prospective employers and recruiters about opportunities that are available.

If you are a Job hunter who has uploaded Your CV we will make your personal data available to recruiters and employers who use the Website to find suitable employees for specific roles that they are seeking to fill.

Although the primary purpose of the Website is to advertise job vacancies we allow job hunters and prospective employers / recruiters to find each other. This part of the service is specifically for job hunters who upload their CV.

For job hunters, we will use your personal data to provide you with the recruitment services that we provide, to manage your account and to email you about recruitment services which includes job alerts that are relevant that you have created.

Details will be held for a period of 6 months and then deleted unless you delete your account sooner which is your right to do so under GDPR.

Employers who access the service have accepted our terms and conditions.

Where you have applied for a job vacancy your CV will be available to that employer who may retain a copy. You should check their privacy policy if You have any concerns.

Transfer of Your Personal Data

Your information, including Personal Data, is processed at the Company’s operating offices and in any other places where the parties involved in the processing are located. It means that this information may be transferred to — and maintained on — computers located outside of Your state, province, country or other governmental jurisdiction where the data protection laws may differ than those from Your jurisdiction.

Your consent to this Privacy Policy followed by Your submission of such information represents Your agreement to that transfer.
